Page Description or Meta Description is part of the HEAD tag in HTML documents. It allows webmasters to write a sentence or two describing the site for search engine to read. In search engine optimization (SEO), it is so important because it gives search engines a summary of what the page is all about. In return, this could make the page appear in search engine results pages (SERP’s) on most relevant queries from internet users around the world.
